- Our in-house dedicated Electonics Development Team design, develop and supply novel hardware, from data storage tags (Cefas designed and built the 1st DST in early 1990’s) to underwater camera and complex remote sensors keeping pace with latest technology. Examples include: Electronic Data Capture System (EDC) which includes a ‘smart’ measuring board to capture fish morphometrics with other species data, RFID Systems and PIT tagging deployments, Ship-Board data logging systems with linked sensors on our research vessel. Also, Wave Glider, plankon imager, flow cytometer, acoustics. Adding to 2 above. We don’t have currently have Sub-surface moorings though in the past had mid water tethers and landers. Structure/rigs: may receive data from other deployments through collaborations. Beach/inter-tidal zone structures: more likely historical whilst
